Hoping for a Better Brighter Tomorrow For Everyone. Joey's Eagles is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to provide support for families with children and young adults facing cancer or other serious chronic illnesses. Through donations made to us from the Pocono Performance Car Club and the support we receive from the Lion's Club of Dingmans Ferry we have been able to provide financial support for families in times of crisis and provide events throughout the year that have brought great joy to everyone. Our goal is to be able to open a facility that children can attend while undergoing chemotherapy and many other treatments that keep them from attending school. We are very grateful to have the support of Dr.J. Taylor (Pediatric Oncologist from Geisinger Medical Center), in opening this center. Our goal is to provide a positive self-esteem for these children and also give ongoing support to their parents. We meet throughout the year, where we have shared parental support sessions and planned group activities. We have, through donations made through the organization been able to help families during very difficult times. Our Goal is to continue to help families emotionally and financially.
